Marnie began her career working in the field of health and human services after graduating with a Masters Degree in Social Work from the Temple University School of Social Administration. A few years later, Marnie came to Acupuncture while facing a debilitating back injury and was immediately captivated by the power of this energetic healing art.
She then went on to attain a Masters in Acupuncture from the Won Institute of Acupuncture Studies where she was trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Constitutional Five Element Acupuncture. Marnie also studied “Acupuncture Physical Medicine,” a style using trigger point dry needling most suited to help relieve pain and release myofascial constrictions.
In her practice, Marnie specializes in treating mental and emotional issues such as anxiety and depression, along with issues of fertility and hormonal/menstrual irregularities, digestive issues, autoimmune disorders, pain and sports related injuries.
